Art card from Russia

I received this card from Russia. I can't read the Russian on the card, so I have no idea who the artist is, but according to the sender this painting is hanging in the Old Masters Gallery in Dresden.

Fuzzy Greetings from Finland

Another cat postcard from Finland. According to the sender, "Pörröiset onnittelut" means "Fuzzy greetings." I'll have to take her word for that.

This card does fit in well with the blog's color scheme, doesn't it?

Arnhem

I've been remiss in scanning my postcards lately, but I'm going to try to catch up this weekend.

This is a view of Arnhem, Netherlands at night. The bridge in the background is the John Frost bridge, named after the commander of the British paratroopers in the Battle of Arnhem in World War II. The events of that battle were dramatized in the 1977 movie A Bridge Too Far.
